CIBSE School Design Group Launch Event
The problems related to reduction of carbon emission and indoor air quality in newly built schools will be discussed at the launch event of the CIBSE School Design Group. This specially-convened fringe event will be held in paralell with the CIBSE/ASHRAE Conference on Sustainability- in Newcastle, 29-30 April 2008. A selected panel of experts will address and facilitate discussions on school design issues.
The CIBSE School Design Group Launch Event is supported by UrbanBuzz. The UrbanBuzz - Building Sustainable Communities is a 2 year, £5 million programme that aims to develop new ways of delivering genuinely sustainable forms of development and community in London and the wider Southeast region. UrbanBuzz is the University College London (UCL)-led programme funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) and the Department for Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform (BERR).
