Following on from many enquiries and discussions, SCEME, the Society of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers serving local government are holding their summer meeting on Engineering Fire Protection in Schools. The speakers will cover a number of topics surrounding engineering fire protection in school and will include Greg Keeling, Essex County Council and Immediate Past President of SCEME, Larry Stokes, Zurich Municipal Property, Paul Hardy, Fire and Rescue in Herts, Jeremy Fraser-Mitchell, BRE and Steve Cooper, Cundell. There will be opportunities to discuss the issues surrounding sprinklers and other methods of fire protection.
